Subject: Estimated sales figures of “Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2” game over a ten-day period from the release date.
The Managing Board of CI Games S.A. with the head office in Warsaw (“the Company”) in connection with current reports no. 10/2021, 11/2021 and 12/2021, would like to publish updated estimated sales figures of “Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2” (“SGWC 2”) game on all platforms, i.e. PC, XBOX X/S, XBOX One and PlayStation 4 on all distribution territories through digital channels during the ten-day period from SGWC 2 release date, excluding pre-orders, compared to “Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 1” (“SGWC 1”). Estimated figures are based on SGWC 2 sales reports received by the Company from global distribution partners for the ten-day period from SGWC 2 release date and in the case of PlayStation 4 on the territory of Europe, for the three-day period from SGWC 2 release date:
- an increase in the number of SGWC 2 copies sold by 125% compared to SGWC 1 on those territories over the same period following the release;
- an increase of revenue from sales of SGWC 2 by 170% compared to SGWC 1 on those territories over the same period following the release.
Based on data from selected material SGWC 2 distribution markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, key European Union countries, the Company’s Managing Board estimates that global SGWC 2 sales on physical media by retail outlets over the ten-day period from SGWC 2 release date is approximately 15% lower than the sales results of SGWC 1 on physical media in the same period after the release of SGWC 1.
The main factor affecting such lower sales level is lower traffic at traditional sales outlets due to COVID-19 epidemic and a less intensive trading period compared to the period during the debut of SGWC 1.
The above information was treated as confidential due to its significance for the Company, particularly for the potential impact on the Company’s financial situation.
