{"id":64218,"date":"2024-06-15T12:26:14","date_gmt":"2024-06-15T10:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cigames.com\/?p=64218"},"modified":"2024-06-17T12:27:08","modified_gmt":"2024-06-17T10:27:08","slug":"ci-games-se-28-2024-signing-of-binding-term-sheet-with-epic-games-inc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cigames.com\/en\/ci-games-se-28-2024-signing-of-binding-term-sheet-with-epic-games-inc\/","title":{"rendered":"CI GAMES SE (28 \/2024) Signing of Binding Term Sheet with Epic Games Inc."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Current report<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>number:<\/strong> 28 \/2024<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>15 June 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Legal basis:<\/strong>\u00a0Art. 17 section 1 of MAR \u2013 inside information<\/p>\n<p><strong>Subject:<\/strong>\u00a0Signing of Binding Term Sheet with Epic Games Inc.<\/p>\n<p>The Management Board of Cl Games SE with its registered office in Warsaw (the \u201c<strong>Company<\/strong>\u201d) hereby announces that on 14 June 2024 the Company signed a binding term sheet \u00a0with Epic Games Inc (\u201c<strong>Epic<\/strong>\u201d) pursuant to which the Company grants Epic the exclusive \u00a0worldwide distribution rights to the sequel of the game \u201cLords of the Fallen\u201d (working title: Project 3) (the \u201c<strong>Game<\/strong>\u201d) on the PC platform for the entire product life cycle (the \u201c<strong>Binding Term Sheet<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>The rights to the Game and the Series, including all intellectual property rights (IP), as well as the rights to publish and distribute the Game worldwide on all other platforms, including the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms for which the Game is currently in \u00a0development, will remain with the Company. In other respects, the Binding Term Sheet provides for standard market terms.<\/p>\n<p>The game is scheduled for release in 2026.<br \/>\nThe Company and Epic will continue to negotiate a detailed publishing<br \/>\nagreement, which the Company will announce in a separate current report.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:<\/strong> This English translation may contain certain discrepancies.
