CI Games has announced the appointment of Tom O\u2019Connor as Senior Vice President of Development. O\u2019Connor\u2019s most recent role was at Tencent Games, where he served as Senior Director of Production. Closely collaborating with studio leadership, he played a pivotal role in the overall strategy and management of its Western game studios, including Sumo Group and Sharkmob, and helped drive and empower their further growth.<\/p>\n
Prior to Tencent Games, Tom spent 15 years at PlayStation, where he managed a suite of development studios and partners to deliver multiple titles across the company\u2019s hardware platforms, most notably the LittleBigPlanet franchise.<\/p>\n
At CI Games, O\u2019Connor joins as a critical part of the executive leadership team reporting into CEO, Marek Tyminski, and will oversee and help coordinate the company\u2019s internal and external studios across CI Games and United Label \u2013 as they continue to develop Project III and Project Survive among other titles. His appointment to the role is fundamental to CI Games\u2019 strategic restructuring, which was announced at the start of the year.<\/p>\n
